Magento 1 Plugin integration manual

Trunkrs Shipping Portal allows a Magento 1 Webshop to use Trunkrs as one of their shipping courier service providers.

A client can install and use the plugin using API credentials for authentication. The API is protected by static header values in the form of:

The clientId and secret combination identifies a client as an authorized client and gives them access to their client-specific records.

Download the Trunkrs Magento 1 plugin (just above)
Unzip the extension package
Upload the extension files to your Magento 1 root directory
This step is situational, in some cases, a pop up will show to ask you for some jQuery file overwrite/replace. This is normal, and it is up to you whether you want to replace the existing jQuery file or not.
After step 3 and 4, you should log in to your Magento 1 admin panel and configure Web Services for Trunkrs.
- Go to System → Web Services → REST - Roles
  - In the REST roles page, choose Guest
  - Edit Role “Guest”, in the Role Information Menu, hit Role API Resources tab
    - Resource Access set to “Custom”
    - Then check Trunkrs API in the Resources
  - Then select Role Info, enter your current Admin password, then Save Role.
- Next, Go to System → Web Services → REST - Attributes
  - In the Rest - Attributes Page, choose Guest
  - Edit attribute rules for Guest Role, in the ACL Attributes Information Menu, hit ACL Attribute Rules Tab
    - Resource Access set to “Custom”
    - Then check Trunkrs API in the Resource
Then Save.
Reindex data by going to System → Index Management, check all, Actions set to Reindex Data then hit Submit.
Lastly, Refresh Cache by going to System → Cache Management, check all, Actions set to Refresh then hit Submit.
